• Act as Subject Matter Expert for legal conflicts and confidentiality issues
• Provide guidance to fee earners and senior stakeholders on whether work can be taken on
• Train Lawyers on Conflicts rules and processes
• Review and maintain the firm\'s conflicts policies

The experience required for this role of Senior Conflict Lawyer include:

• Minimum 4 years\' PQE and qualified lawyer

My client prides themselves on the outstanding work they do within specific areas of property law. The ideal candidate is someone who has experienced working within all areas of accounts and has knowledge on the processes required and involved. They are willing to train people on areas which they may have less knowledge on.

The Legal Cashier will be involved in all areas of accounts assisting the Senior Cashier. This position will allow somebody to learn more and get more involved into practice management too by assisting the practice manager in some duties which will also be trained on.

The ideal Legal Cashier will have to:

• Be involved in client cashiering and monitoring funds received via Cashroom portal.
• Transferring client funds into office account to pay bills whilst adhering to SRA Accounts Rules.
• Assist with all other cashiering and accounting duties.
• Provide general support for accounts team including assistance with billing, purchase ledger and credit control.
• Deal with fee earner queries as and when they arise.

Ideal skills for the Legal Cashier would include:

• Excellent SRA Accounts Rules knowledge.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a law firm.
• Good IT skills with excel and able to manage electronic filing.
• Understanding of all aspects of legal accounts.
• Confident and ability to work quickly and accurately.

The role

As Residential Property Conveyancing Compliance Officer working remotely, your responsibilities would include:

• To undertake audits of client files, working to audit and compliance specifications through our Audit Framework.
• To analyse audit data and prepare written reports on the audit findings including compliance breaches.
• Provide feedback to the Management Team, Managers and staff on audit and compliance findings.
• To support the Management Team and Senior Staff with embedding compliance and quality processes, including audit activity and compliance monitoring across the branch offices particularly.
• To be responsible for collating, maintaining and reporting on data from identified areas of practice.
• To work closely with Managers to ensure that, where appropriate, findings from the audit process are reflected in performance management activities including training needs analysis and personal development plans.
• Ensure managers are kept up to date with any changes in SRA, CQS, ICO, GDPR and all other compliance standards.

Boasting with over 150 years\' worth of experience and more than 3000 employees globally, my client is looking for an experienced Senior Legal Cashier to assist the department with further growth plans and execution of the day to day cashiering responsibilities.

As Senior Legal Cashier; based in London, you will be required to oversee 3 Legal Cashiers, supporting in the day to day running of the Legal Cashiering team to ensure that high standards are maintained. The Senior Legal Cashier will form part of a busy and dynamic Cashiering team and will be expected to deputise for the Cashier Manager in their absence.

Duties/Responsibilities of the Senior Legal Cashier

• Supervise a team of 3 legal Cashiers on the day to day processes, ensuring performance is kept to a high standard and fulfilling yearly appraisals
• Supervising transactions for the office account using complex office receipt software
• Completing Client compliancy forms to a high standard
• Addressing complex transactions and set ups, ensuring you advise partners prior to competition
• Supervising the client balances project
• Monthly deposit runs
• Setting up joint deposit accounts by liaising with partners and the bank in the absence of the Cashier Manager
• Client bank reconciliations
• Identify issues with weekly credit balances by reporting to the Manager
• Holding meetings with Partners in regards to Client balances
• Identifying and addressing Cashiering/Billing queries and raising appropriately
• Ensuring all SRA regulation process is maintained to a high standard and raised to auditors and to management efficiently
• Supervise reconciliation of deposit accounts
• Identify and advise management of SAR breaches

Desired experience of the Senior Legal Cashier

• Experience of working in Legal Cashiering role
• Previous experience supervising a team or looking for progression from a Senior Legal Cashier role
• Strong knowledge of SARs
• In depth experience of using a legal finance system (Elite 3e, Aderant or equivalent)
