An internation law firm is looking for a Head of Compliance to be based in their Birmingham office. This full service law firm has a global presence across the UK, EMEA, North and South America.

The Role of Head of Compliance in Birmingham
You will have two direct reports who are managers and oversight of their team.
Core responsibilities and not limited to:
- Advising senior stakeholder and support the General Counsel/COLP on risk & compliance legal issues
- Advising the MLRO on SARs and firm\'s AML regulatory obligations and reporting to regulators
- Develop Risk & Compliance Strategies for the law firm
- Providing guidance and advice to partners and fee earner on conduct and compliance
Head of Compliance in Birmingham
- Qualified lawyer within private practice, in house or regulatory body
- Experience with advising on legal compliance and financial crime
- Senior Stakeholder management
- Strong SRA Handbook knowledge
