Duties and responsibilities
Our client are on the look out for an eager and passionate Payroll Supervisor to join their growing team. You will be carrying out a range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to;

• Liaising with clients and entering payroll data from start to finish
• Reconciling payroll to client data, getting client approval as appropriate and issuing payroll reports & payslips
• Reviewing team member\'s work
• Preparing payroll journals
• Reconciling weekly and monthly PAYEF figures
• Preparing BACS files
• Administering Pension Auto-enrolment including making appropriate declarations to The Pensions Regulator
• Producing and distributing pension scheme returns, including notification of changes in members\' status and uploading to pension provider
• Dealing effectively with queries from clients, and HMRC and other parts if the business
• Assisting with on boarding new clients.
• Share knowledge internally and externally

Qualifications and skills required
Our client are looking for someone who can show evidence of being a proactive, hands-on team player who is confident in working to changing priorities in a busy department with a keen eye for detail. They should have good working knowledge of statutory family leave, SSP, salary sacrifice, pensions,etc with excellent excellent communication. They must also have [ayroll bureau experience and be able to calculate tax, NI, pensions, etc. manually

Our client are on the look out for an ambitious and enthusiastic Outsourcing Senior to join their growing team. You will be carrying out a range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to;

• Review junior team members\' work
• Support juniors in their professional development
• Respond to, and anticipate, clients\' needs
• Prepare and review VAT returns
• Prepare consolidations and cash flows for management accounts
• Prepare and review management accounts
• Manage multiple deadlines at once
• Ensure a high level of service to meet clients\' expectations

Qualifications and skills required
Our client are looking for someone who can show evidence of being a proactive, hands-on team player who is confident in working to changing priorities in a busy department with a keen eye for detail. They should be studying towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA or can be QBE previous proven bookkeeping, VAT and management accountants experience. At least 3 years in a small/medium sized practice is required and intermediate/advanced Excel, Xero, Dext and Quickbooks experience is preferred.

The Role of Head of Compliance in Birmingham

You will have two direct reports who are managers and oversight of their team.

Core responsibilities and not limited to:

• Advising senior stakeholder and support the General Counsel/COLP on risk & compliance legal issues
• Advising the MLRO on SARs and firm\'s AML regulatory obligations and reporting to regulators
• Develop Risk & Compliance Strategies for the law firm
• Providing guidance and advice to partners and fee earner on conduct and compliance

Head of Compliance in Birmingham

• Qualified lawyer within private practice, in house or regulatory body
• Experience with advising on legal compliance and financial crime
• Senior Stakeholder management
• Strong SRA Handbook knowledge

Qualifications and skills required

• Be ACCA or ACA qualified.
• Up to date working knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, auditing standards, company law and good basic knowledge of corporate and personal tax to enable draft tax computations to be reviewed.
• Have experience preparing accounts.
• Have excellent communication and management skills.
• Ideally have knowledge of Pro-audit and CCH.

Duties and responsibilities
As a Finance Assistant you will be carrying out a range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to;

• Managing the purchase ledger and sales ledger including processing invoices, reconciling supplier accounts, creating payment runs, allocating sales receipts to the correct invoices and reconciling the fees at the month end.
• Carrying out any ad-hoc bookkeeping tasks when required.
• Preparing management accounts and assisting with month end reporting.
• Drafting VAT returns.
• Liaising with various internal managers and partners of different teams.
• Other ad-hoc admin tasks.

Qualifications and skills required
In order succeed as a Finance Assistant you will:

• Be ambitious and keen to pursue a career in accountancy.

• Have good attention to detail.
• Some accounts experience would be desirable.
• This role could also be suitable for someone who has recently completed their accountancy degree.
