Pentagon Talent are proud to present a fantastic opportunity as a Senior Legal Cashier working with a London based top 100 UK law firm. Operating on a global capacity, my client has an established recognition in the market, with over 30 years' worth of expertise and over 100 lawyers working for the firm.

As the Senior Legal Cashier, you will be located in London where you will be primarily responsible for overseeing the residual balances project, along with supporting the AP function and all areas of the client side of the job role which includes journals and payments.

Duties/Responsibilities of the Senior Legal Cashier

• Managing residual balances
• Assisting the Accounts payable team with the daily function
• Supplier statement reconciliation
• Handling daily queries from fee earners
• Monthly deposit runs
• Client bank reconciliations
• Identify issues with weekly credit balances by reporting to the Manager
• Holding meetings with Partners in regards to Client balances
• Loading supplier files from Excel into Elite

Desired experience of the Senior Legal Cashier

• Knowledge of VAT regulations
• Experience in handling SAR regulations
• In depth experience of using a legal finance system (Elite 3e, Aderant or equivalent)
• A strong user of the Microsoft package (Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Good communicator
• A strong multitasker and good time management
• Able to meet deadlines
• An eye for attention to detail
• Able to work efficiently on their own
• Brilliant team dynamics
• Flexible
