The ideal Legal Cashier will have to:
- Liaise with associates and partners regarding any queries whilst ensuring balances are returned to the client at the end of a matter.
- Post client transaction on Elite 3E.
- Deal with processing client to office bill payments.
- Checking and processing settlements and any other third-party costs.
- Assist the quarterly reporting to clients and brokers.
Ideal skills for a Legal Cashier would include:
- 3 years cashiering experience.
- High level SRA rules knowledge.
- Experience dealing with residual balances would be preferred.
- Experience cashiering in an international environment.
- Good communication, both written and verbal.
- Being able to build and maintain a professional working relationship with senior members of the finance team and other senior stakeholders.
