About the accountancy firm
Pentagon Talent are partnering with a forward thinking top 50 accountancy firm; an incredibly approachable firm with a long standing reputation. They provide a full range of services to their diverse pool of clients including but not limited to; advisory, corporate finance, corporation tax, private client tax services, insolvency and financial planning.
Duties and responsibilities
Out client are on the look out for a driven and talented Corporate Tax Assistant Manager and Manager. In this position you will carry out a range of duties and responsibilities depending on the level, these duties include but are not limited to;
- A mixture of advisory and tax compliance services related to complex affairs, for a portfolio of clients of partnerships, medium sized clients and sole traders.
- Liaising with clients on a regular basis face to face or via email or phone.
- Overseeing the collation of all the information needed to prepare the corporation and business/personal tax returns.
- Billing clients and keeping partners appraised of any budget concerns.
- Overseeing the annual employment taxes returns completion i.e. forms P11D and ERS returns connected to the client portfolio.
- Reviewing tax returns prepared by other members of staff for approval by the client.
- Liaising with key stakeholders, audit and accounts team.
Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed as a Corporate Tax Assistant/Manager you will have an extensive background in corporation and business tax within accountancy firms. You will be CTA qualified and be effective at client handling. You will be technically minded and able to delegate work effectively.
