About our client
Pentagon Talent are partnering with a mid-tier accountancy firm to support them in the recruitment for a senior accountant in their London office. They provide a specialist service to a variety of clients including from the hospitality, not for profit and retail sector. They are a training firm who support and train all their employees on all rounds of accounting, tax and audit.
Duties and responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant or Part-Qualified Accountant you will be a key part of the team delivering exceptional accounting services. You will be carrying out a variety of duties including but not limited to overseeing and undertaking audits and accounts work, both in-house and at client locations, reviewing work, and assisting in the trainees. You will also be involved in corporate tax computations, self-assessment returns and VAT returns.
Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed as an accountant you will be ACCA or ICAEW newly qualified or part-qualified. You will have at least two years experience working within a practice firm in an accounting role. You do not need to have audit experience but you will be happy to get involved in audit as part of your role.
