About the accountancy firm
Pentagon Talent are delighted to be partnering with a mid tier accountancy firm located in London, who are known for their specialist support in advising entrepreneurial private clients and small to medium sized businesses. This firm has a traditional service ethos with high quality advice being delivered by the partners and supported by experienced and motivated professionals.
Duties and responsibilities
Our client are on the look out for a passionate and engaging private client tax manager to join their growing team. You will be carrying out a range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to;
- Managing all the related and complex aspects of the tax affairs of a variety of high net worth private clients, including non-UK domiciles, UK and offshore trusts
- Being a main point of contact for client queries
- Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and estates
- Regularly liaising with HM Revenue & Customs and other third parties
Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed as an private client tax manager, you will need to be CTA qualified (or equivalent), with a strong knowledge and understanding of UK personal taxes. Experience of advising non domiciled residents, knowledge of trusts and of inheritance tax and probate is preferred. Familiarity with CCH software is also advantageous.
