Pentagon Talent are currently partnering with a leading independent accountancy firm in the heart of Central London. They have a strong reputation for delivering exceptional service to their clients.

They are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join their team and help them continue to grow and thrive. As Practice Manager, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and supporting our team in delivering high-quality services to our clients. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the firm, providing leadership and direction to your staff, and working closely with senior management team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of firm management, including financial management, HR, IT, and facilities management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.
  • Lead and manage our team of professionals, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective processes, policies, and systems to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to track progress against targets and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Participate in business development activities and contribute to the growth and success of the firm.

Qualifications:

  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
  • Significant experience in a senior management role within an accountancy firm.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial management, HR, IT, and facilities management.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical behaviour.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and professional standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office and accountancy software packages.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
