Pentagon Talent are delighted to be partnering with a mid tier leading firm located in the City of London who are known for their friendly, dynamic team of experts with significant experience advising a wide range of clients whilst also being the leading specialists within the arts, entertainment and media sectors.

Duties and responsibilities
Our client are on the look out for an ambitious and enthusiastic Payroll Administrator to join their growing payroll department. You will be carrying out a range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to;

  • Processing a range of complex and technically challenging payrolls with the support of the Payroll Manager.
  • Build and develop good relationships with clients.
  • Ensure that payroll payment submissions are made in accordance with agreed schedules.
  • Provide technical support in dealing with client queries, report design, e-filing, data import and export, HMRC investigations including resolving over/under payments.
  • Monitor client errors and handle client complaints.
  • Take responsibility for compliance administration, monthly and year end processes.
  • Actively progress own learning and development.

You will be reporting to the Payroll Manager, Partners and other Team Managers as well as supporting the rest of the payroll team.

Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed as a Payroll Administrator you only need to have one years of practical payroll experience and be looking to progress within payroll. You will be keen to train and learn new things. You will have a good level of technical skills and knowledge of payroll processes.
