Corporate Tax Senior

About our client
Pentagon Talent are partnering with a lovely forward thinking firm of chartered accountants, auditors, tax advisors, business consultants and financial advisors to recruit for a Corporate Tax Senior. This friendly firm of accountants specialise in owner-managed businesses, business start-ups, small to medium sized companies, and UK subsidiaries of foreign parent companies. They also provide personal tax services and tax planning advice to individuals.

Duties and responsibilities
As a Corporate Tax Senior you will assist in the management of the tax department in the overall smooth running of the department. You will working closely with the managers and the partners. You will manage the tax compliance of personal and corporate clients. You will prepare and submit tax returns of clients which may include Capital Gains Tax, PAYE and Trusts. You will bring tax planning opportunities to attention of manager/supervisor and partners. You will ensure professional standards are met and supervising and developing more junior staff. You will ensure all deadlines are met where possible and develop good working relationships with clients.

Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed you must be newly qualified ACA or CTA, have at least three years public practice experience, demonstrate a knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax issues. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills.
