About our client
Pentagon Talent are partnering with a modern and forward thinking mid-tier accountancy firm of chartered accountants, business management specialists and corporate and private client advisors in Central London. They work with a variety of clients but particularly for this position they work with some established names in music and entertainment.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be joining the creative team as an Assistant Manager primarily working with their music and entertainment clients. You will be managing the day to day bookkeeping, financial reporting, payments and budgeting for clients ranging from individuals, unincorporated businesses, partnerships and incorporated companies. You will work successfully with the team managers and partners to ensure that all statutory deadlines and requirements for accounts, tax, vat and that any other areas of financial compliance are met. You will carry out the preparation of year end account files and assist in completing P11Ds, company, personal and partnership returns to ensure the timely filing and payment of client compliance. You will manage the receivables and payables and prepare the VAT returns. You will delegate to and oversee team members.
Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed you will be ACCA/ACA qualified or have substantial relevant experience. It is essential that you have experience working in the music industry as well. Ideally you will have QuickBooks and Xero knowledge.
