Pentagon Talent are excited to be working with a top 50 accountancy firm in the heart of the City of London. Offering impeccable services including accounting, auditing, tour accounting, business management, corporate advisory and tax services. They work with a varied client base from exciting sectors including entertainment, media, sports, digital, art, real estate and lots more.
Duties and responsibilities
Our client are on the look out for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant Manager to specifically join their creative team. You will be carrying out a range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to;
- Managing the day to day bookkeeping and budgeting tasks for clients within the media and entertainment industry ranging from individuals, partnerships and companies.
- You will ensure all statutory deadlines and requirements for accounts, tax and VAT are met.
- Preparation of year end accounts files.
- Preparation and review of VAT returns
- Managing all receivables and payables.
- Acting as the first point of contact for clients.
- Regularly updating managers and partners.
- Other ad-hoc work as per the requirements of the portfolio.
Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed as an Accounts Assistant Manager you will need to have completed your ACCA or ACA qualification or have at least 3 years experience within a practice firm in the UK. It is essential you have experience working with the entertainment and music industries.
