About the accountancy firm
Pentagon Talent are delighted to be partnering with a top 50 accountancy firm located in London, who are known for providing a number of of services to a variety of different clients but specialise within the creative industries. This firm prides themselves on their highly personable service which is delivered by the partners and supported by experienced and motivated professionals.

Duties and responsibilities
Our client are on the look out for an enthusiastic and engaging Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team. You will be carrying out a range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to;

  • Be a "go to" person on the job, liaising directly with the client on day-to-day bookkeeping issues - requesting information, answering queries, raising queries on jobs to the clients
  • Review and finalise the work of junior staff
  • Support with accounts reconciliations
  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Review the books at year end and make year end adjustments including foreign exchange adjustments

Qualifications and skills required
Our client are looking for someone with a proactive attitude and high work ethic with at least 2 years of bookkeeping experience within a practice environment who is confident working independently and working in a team. High organisational skills with intermediate to advanced level skills on Excel and great communication skills are favourable.
