Duties and responsibilities
As an Accounts Associate you will take responsibility for a portfolio of media, celebrity and entrepreneurial clients. You will be providing first-class support to our clients and team, either in person, by email, or by telephone in a prompt professional manner, ensuring all queries are dealt with promptly. You will proactively maintain positive client relationship and seek to establish new client relationships and business contacts by marketing and networking by the firm. You will be planning and controlling and reviewing assignments in an accurate, cost effective and timely manner. You will managed and supervise the training and development of staff, providing regular feedback and conducting appraisals as required. You will pro-actively present to the partners, ideas on how to improve processes and utilise new opportunities in legislation and technology.

Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed as an Accounts Associate you will be ACA/ACCA qualified with ideally five year\'s post qualification and possess management experience.

Duties and responsibilities
As a Personal Tax Specialist you will be preparing tax returns for individuals, sole traders and partnerships. You will be providing a full and personal tax compliance service as required by the circumstances of each client. You will be preparing tax computations for income tax and corporate tax purposes, calculating client tax liabilities, preparing letters to clients that accompany their tax returns, dealing with correspondence from HM Revenue and Customs, dealing with client tax investigations that may arise, preparing client VAT returns and ensuring tax quality at all times by adhering to the firms set standards.

Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed as a Personal Tax Manager you will be CTA or ATT qualified with a strong background in personal tax. You will have proven experience of working in the tax department and handling and managing a busy client portfolio. Ideally you have some exposure to the medical sector but this is not essential.

Duties and responsibilities
As a Corporate Tax Manager you will be carrying out a variety of responsibilities including:

• Assisting the partner in charge of the department in the overall smooth running of the department.
• Supervising and training of team members within the department.
• Planning compliance work and controlling work schedules of tax staff.
• Reviewing and in some cases, dealing with tax compliance work, ready for submission to HMRC.
• Working with partners to ensure adequate and appropriate fee recoveries on assignments.
• Where relevant, dealing with Capital Gains, Trust and Inheritance Tax and assisting the Partners in ensuring that the best advice is tailored for the client.
• Dealing with complex tax and tax planning issues for the firm\'s clients.
• Assisting the Partners in the marketing and further development of the tax function with the firm.
• · Developing client and intermediary relationships, managing and controlling deliverables and deadlines and handling day to day queries.
• Assisting the partners in the Recruitment and Appraisal process.
• Working with the training partner to ensure that all technical and soft skills, if applicable, training for the Tax Department is maintained up to date, including CPD where appropriate.
• Ensuring that, overall, the department meets the requirement of the ICAEW Practice Assurance Standards.

Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed you will have at least five years experience working in corporate tax in an accountancy firm. You will have working knowledge of CCH and have experience managing a team.

With a wealth of experience in the legal sector and boasting more than 150 years\' worth of experience, my client is seeking a Partnership Accountant to join their London based finance team and assist with handling the daily capital for partners across their global reach, by providing support with the partner capital calculations, partner profit allocation, partner drawings, partner tax computations and distributions to ensure they align with the members\' agreements.

The successful candidate will form a team of 3, directly reporting into the Senior Partnership Accountant and the Managing Partnership Accountant to provide support with setting up the Partner Capital Loans and by maintaining the correct interest rate is charged on a quarterly basis

Duties/Responsibilities of the Partnership Accountant

• Preparing the illustrations and advising the Partners about changes to the partner capital loans due to increases in points following allocation reviews
• Providing management support for advising the firms banks about increases to the partner capital loan in line with changes to the profit points or partner recruitment
• Advising the company banks about increases to the partner capital loans in line with changes to the profit Ensure to manage payments being made to the company bank account in a timely manner
• Making partner capital loan repayments due to any changes made to the profit points or retirement
• Allocating the quarterly interest amounts in line with the corresponding partner accounts and checking the quarterly interest amounts match
• Providing analysis and explanation for the capital arrangements to any newly promoted or lateral hire partner
• Informing the company bank accounts of any changes to address
• Informing the cashiering department about when funds are expected to be received
• Handling partner capital loans and repayments are posted accurately to the general ledger account
• Providing support to partner capital queries
• Preparing capital balance forecasts
• Organising capital repayments are made promptly by liaising with the cashiering team
• Managing the capital projection model
• Calculating the capital to be retained profit share for all partners\' and posting to the general ledger appropriately

You will also be involved in corporate tax computations, self-assessment returns and VAT returns.

Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed as an accountant you will be ACCA or ICAEW newly qualified or part-qualified. You will have at least two years experience working within a practice firm in an accounting role. You do not need to have audit experience but you will be happy to get involved in audit as part of your role.

In order to succeed as a mixed tax senior you will be working towards your CTA qualification and have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working within the tax industry.
