Pentagon Talent have partnered with a top 30 US London based law firm, operating on a global capacity. Boasting with over 100 years' worth of experience and more than 2000 employees, my client is seeking a dynamic Billing Coordinator to collaborate for short period of time and to join their experienced and well supported team of Legal Billers, who operate out of the firm's Central London Office.

The Billing Coordinator will report into a seasoned Billing Manger who has extensive experience in the firm's processes. Working closely with the Billing manager and other team members the successful Billing Coordinator will be responsible for liaising with various internal departments and senior stakeholders across the business to ensure bills are sent out accurately and in a timely manner.

Duties/Responsibilities of the Legal Billing Coordinator

  • Assisting partners with producing proforma invoices and distributing where necessary
  • Preparing all elements of bills, which will include drafting them, splitting and coding them, all the way through to the final bills
  • Provide support to the team, to ensure credit notes are raised accurately and re-issued when requested
  • Preparing bills efficiently for the required partners and in line with the client standards
  • Handling queries on an adhoc basis and ensuring they resolved promptly
  • Experienced with SRA and VAT compliance rules, by ensuring they are met to company standards
  • Supporting the team where required, on an adhoc basis

Desired experience of the Legal Billing Coordinator

  • Experience working in Billing Coordinator role
  • Knowledge using Law software e.g Elite/Aderant
  • Strong use of MS package (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
  • Strong communicator

  • Knowledge using E-billing systems
