Pentagon Talent have partnered with a leading global law firm who are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant for their London office. The Assistant Management Accountant will be based in firms modern London office 3 days per week, with 2 days working from home.

Responsibilities for the Assistant Management Accountant:

  • Prepare monthly Management Accounts
  • Post prepayments, accruals, and journals
  • Maintain the fixed asset register
  • Manage monthly fee earner targets
  • Authorise supplier invoices, staff expenses, and bank payments
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations
  • Prepare legal surveys and National Statistics reports
  • Provide ad hoc management information

Requirements for the Assistant Management Accountant:

  • Experience in an accounts department of a professional services firm
  • Part Qualified or currently studying (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Professional, proactive attitude with strong communication skills
  • Recently started accountancy qualification studies
  • Experience in the legal or professional services sector is a plus
