Pentagon Talent are delighted to be partnering with an award winning Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers, providing pro-active and commercially innovative accounting, advisory and taxation advice to their clients who include high net worth individuals, sole traders and family-owned businesses, medium & large UK & overseas companies.
Duties and responsibilities
My client are looking for an ambitious professional, who has the passion and drive to excel; being an individual who doesn't just want to get a professional qualification but is aiming to grow their business skills - professionally, technically and commercially. You will be carrying out a range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to;
- Assist in preparing UK corporate tax returns and notes within the statutory accounts
- Get involved in planning such as R&D tax relief, group tax planning, venture capital reliefs, share schemes and valuations and group restructuring and tax clearances
- Prepare Employee Related Securities (ERS) and ATED compliance returns
- Working closely with personal tax colleagues to look holistically at shareholder planning and exit
- Reporting to the manager and partner
- Produce high quality professional technical advice
Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed as a Tax Senior, you will need to have experience in Corporate Tax compliance and strong technical skills with a keen eye for detail. You must be ATT / CTA or ACA qualified or coming to the end of your exams.
