Pentagon Talent are partnering with a top 100 accountancy firm who are one of the largest independent accounting and business advisory firms in the UK. With over three offices and a team of circa 100 staff they provide audit, accounting and tax advice to clients and individuals.
Duties and responsibilities
As an Accounts Portfolio Manager you will manage a portfolio of clients and drive the delivery of accounting and tax planning solutions to these clients. You will build relationships that will allow you to effectively deliver projects and grow members of the team. You will provide exceptional levels of service to clients on a wide variety of areas on a cost effective and timely basis. You will be responding to client queries and those from third parties in a timely manner. You will act as the clients main point of contact. You will review accounts and tax returns prepared by more junior staff. You will assist partners with specific arrangements i.e. business planning, advisory and tax matters and lots more.
Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed as an Accounts Portfolio Manager you will be ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified. You will have a minimum of three years accounts and tax experience within the practice environment. Experience as a manager within a practice environment would be desirable.
